Sept Tuna Run
The last few weeks the tuna fishing has been up and down but were still managing to put 3-6 tunas in the box each trip. The fish have been getting bigger each week. We have had some tuna in the 130-140 lb range, on Tuesday we had a 138 on top water, talk about a long battle, it went through 6 guys twice. Oct is the time for the big tuna behind the shrimp boats and it will not be long before it turns on. We still have dates open in Oct.
