August pics and report
Fishing in august was pretty strong. We were blessed with good weather and great fishing. The blue water was still far out but the fish were very thick on the shelf. Most days we were fishing 12-20 miles out. This is what Louisiana Tuna Fishing is all about. We avg 4-8 yellowfin pre trip all the fish were in the 60-100 lb range with the biggest tuna of the month being 144 lbs caught the week before labor day. The fishing in September- November should only get better. The next two-three months are my favorite
months to fish. The weather is cool the fish are big and move close in. Book your Louisiana Fishing Charters now, dates are booking up fast for this fall. We will be back at it this week. With the full moon this week end we will be doing a little swordfishing this week. We have boats open for this week end and the weather looks good.
