April 1st & 2 Report and pics 58 yellowfin in 2 days

Friday was just another day in Paradise. We started the day off making bait and it was not long until we put the first tuna in the box. For the next two hours we were doubled up on 30-60 lb tunas. We put 15 in the box by 10 am. The highlight of day was about a 500-700lb blue marlin swimming up to the boat whacking a big chunk out of a 40lb tuna right next to the boat. No luck on on the big blue. We left the tuna and went after some wahoo first pass bam put a nice hoo in the box next pass another hoo on ice, after that it went dead. Hit a few more rigs and called it a wrap with 15 yellows and 2 wahoo.

Day 2 was a three boat trip. Capt Trey, Capt Josh and myself. Being that it was a calm Saturday we decided to leave the dock at 5 am. That had to have been the best move of the day. We arrived to the same spot as the day before, after about twenty mins we had a live well full of bait. Same results as the day before. Capt Trey had three clients on his boat and put his limit of 9 yellows in the boat by 8:45. I had four guys on my boat and put 12 in the box by 9:30, Capt Josh was not far behind with his limit of 12. We were off to the wahoo fishing before most of the other boats were still trying to make bait. Trey was the top dog on the wahoo going 2-4. I messed around and did a little jiging and we put 3 scamp and 3 nice ajs in the box. With a box full of fish that was a wrap.
Capt Scott was also out on the Sea Legs and had a great day bring back 9 nice tunas.
The fishing is off the charts right now and should remain solid Thur the summer. The mahi should be showing up in the next few weeks the marlin are here and the tuna are chewing. Now is the time to book your trip. Come enjoy Paradise.
